MEMBER LOGIN
Get into your accounts
Online banking, the mobile app, and automated phone banking all use the same member number and password. Here is how to sign in, enroll for the first time, and get back in if something goes wrong.
Where to sign in
Three ways in, one set of credentials
Change your password in one place and it changes everywhere.
Online banking
Use the login panel at the top of any page on this site. Sessions time out after fifteen minutes of inactivity, and we never ask for your password by email or phone.
The Summit mobile app
Search for Summit Federal Credit Union in the App Store or on Google Play. After the first sign-in you can turn on face or fingerprint unlock and skip typing the password.
Phone banking
Automated phone banking runs 24 hours a day for balances, transfers, and recent transactions. You will need your member number and your four-digit phone banking PIN, which is separate from your card PIN.
First time here
Enrolling takes about three minutes
New members can enroll the same day the account opens.
Choose enroll, not log in
Select the enrollment link under the login panel. You will need your member number, Social Security number, and date of birth to start.
Confirm a one-time code
We text or call the phone number on your account with a six-digit code. If that number is out of date, call us or stop by a branch before you begin.
Set a username and password
Pick something you do not use anywhere else, at least twelve characters long. Turn on two-factor authentication on the same screen; it takes another thirty seconds.
When something goes wrong
Forgotten credentials and locked accounts
Forgot your password or username
Use the reset link on the login panel. We send a one-time code to the phone or email already on file, and you set a new password on the spot. If both your phone and email are out of date, we have to verify you in person or by callback, so call before you try repeatedly.
Locked out after failed attempts
Five wrong passwords lock the account for your protection. The lock clears on its own after 30 minutes, or a member service representative can clear it immediately once you verify your identity. Locking out does not affect your debit card, your direct deposit, or any scheduled payment.
Security
Four habits that stop most fraud
Nearly every account takeover we see starts with a member handing over a code to someone claiming to be us.
Never share a one-time code
Summit will never call, text, or email you asking for a verification code, your password, or your full card number. If someone does, hang up and call us back at the number on your card.
Turn on two-factor
It is off by default only if you skipped it during enrollment. Switch it on under security settings so a stolen password alone cannot get anyone into your accounts.
Set balance alerts
Alerts for low balances, large purchases, and any card-not-present transaction arrive within seconds. Most members catch fraud from an alert long before a statement arrives.
Freeze the card yourself
If your debit card is missing, freeze it in the app instead of waiting to call. Nothing posts while it is frozen, and unfreezing takes one tap when the card turns up.
If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, call us immediately and we will lock online access while we investigate. This is a demonstration website; rates, products, and figures shown are illustrative only.

Five dollars opens a membership and gets you online banking the same day.
